What is the Portal PTO?

· The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) works to help your child succeed: children do better when their parents are involved at home and at school.

· Brings parents, students and staff together to build a fun and inviting school community.

· Participate in decisions that impact your child’s school.

· Skate Nights and Family Food Nights

How can I get involved?

· Everyone is automatically a member and there are no fees or dues

        · Attend PTO meetings to be involved

· Participate in fundraising activities

· Volunteer for a committee

· Attend a PTO hosted or other school events

· Watch the school newsletter and website for opportunities!

 

Meetings and Officers

· PTO meetings are held 4 times a year and start at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center at Portal and free childcare is available. 

· PTO officers are elected each Spring.
